In the Impairment Arcade 2D, players can choose from redesigned versions of four classic arcade games to play: Centipede, Pong, Pac-Man, or Snake. Each game has two rounds, with the first round being played as the classic arcade game, and the second round with an impairment overlay. By simulating what it’s like to play an arcade game with the impairments of hypersensitivity, double vision, drowsiness, and dizziness, this game provides a metaphor for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Created by Tennessee Tech’s iCube for the Tennessee Highway Safety Office.
